Re: X3
I got too much going on this weekend, but I've already got plans laid out to see it next Friday with my brother who's coming in from out of town.
One thing I did hear, don't know if it is true, but I heard that you want to stay through all the credits at the end for something. So if someone does that this weekend, report back.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Re: X3
Just got back from seeing it. Here are a few impressions....
- I wasn't too concerned about the switch of directors from Singer to Rattner going in, but boy did it make a difference. The direction was horrible and the scenes weren't put together well. The difference between the "feel" of the first two and this one are worlds apart.
- It was entertaining seeing some of the mutants that only received play in the other movies finally get to play bigger roles in this one. That being said, there could have been much, much more done in the action sequences.
- The acting was h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. I can lay a lot of the blame on the script (which was pathetic as well), but the acting was so bad (mostly by the role players) that you had to take notice.
- The Dark Phoenix storyline wasn't used as well as I thought it was going to be.
- I think the X-Men/comic book fans will enjoy seeing the movie just to bring some closure to the other two and finally seeing some of the other mutants finally make the movie series, but I don't see how the average person will enjoy the film much.
I'll follow the rating system of the movie review website I frequent and base it off of a $10 admission price.....$5.75 out of $10.00.Comment

I don't see how Superman Returns isn't going to be much better than X-Men 3. Put it like this, I'd almost watch the Superman trailer for an hour straight than go see this movie in the theater.
If you can stand to wait for DVD then I'd say wait.Comment

Re: X3
I think something like 104 minutes or something.
And I HATE people. Someone just ruined part of the movie I didn't know happened. I honestly think I'm going to kill him.
And don't worry, I won't say it...I'm trying to forget about it before I see it, lol.Comment

Re: X3
All my friends are working this weekend and my brother saw it earlier today, so I'm thinking about seeing a late viewing either tomorrow night or Sunday night.

Re: X3
Just got back from seeing this movie....
It wasn't bad, and it wasn't all that great...
All I can say, is the difference between x1 and x2 compared to this one was ....
It was waaaaaaay more violent and action packed....the story was straight forward and didn't beat around the bush. Plus nice levels of profanity and cocky mutants in the film....
Opens the doors for much more to come.
Some of the aspects of the movie will piss you off, because of some of the events that take place, are like WTF and hell naw...
Other will make you laugh and applaud the film...
Overall its worth to watch in the theater, nice quality and lots of explosion and action to warrant the admission..
Also the film has more after the end credits to let you know a major twist.....
7/10 Not the best and not all that bad either...but one time is good enough until the DVD drops..Comment
