    Re: X3

    X-Men 4 confirmed.

“It's the conclusion of this trilogy. These three movies work as a trilogy. These characters in this relationship, it's the culmination of that saga. It's the culmination and the resolution of those relationships laid out in the first two movies. That doesn't mean never, I would ever say never again, but I will say that this brings that saga to an end. It's quite the way the last Lord of the Rings, Return of the King, brought that trilogy to a conclusion in terms of those characters, that's what this movie does. It goes all the way back to the first one and rounds off and completes that three-part story”.

So with the Wolverine and Magnito movies confirmed, as prequels, who are the next X-Men stories going to focus on? Would Hugh Jackman due a 4th movie? Especailly after now doing the Wolverine prequel? I mean, that would be five movies as that character. And what about Halle Berry?

But who else could they have? Gambit? Who as a big enemy? What about Mr. Sinister? If you remember, Mr. Sinister, "is perhaps the greatest geneticist in the Marvel universe. He is capable of cloning, creating superhuman abilities and enhancing or controlling mutant abilities." Also doesn't he have some connection with Gambit?

    What about Apocalypse?

      Re: X3

I don't think there's anything wrong hoping for major characters who were left out of the film be included, like Nightcrawler......one of the greatest second gen X-Men conceived. It's not like it's a comic book and we can possibly see a character not featured one month come back in the next issue.

        Re: X3

I thought everyone knew Nightcrawler wasnt in because dude bitched out about having to go through so much make up. And I dont think that blog in any way confirms a 4th film. as for the Sinister proposal, it would be pointless to have Sinister without Xavier/Cyclops/Jean, unless they're going off the Ultimate Comics, which they have to a degree...

I enjoyed it. I never read the comics, most of my xmen knowledge came from the cartoon, so I was a little surprised w/ how they went with the phoenix. BTW, where was Psylocke in the movie? I mustve completely missed her

Apocalypse is basically responsible for Sinister so having him establishes a connection there. And yes, Sinister and Gambit do share a connection. Before Gambit joined the X-Men, Sinister hired him and the Maurauders to exterminate the Morlocks.

I think we will see another X-Men eventually, but not for awhile. And when we do see one it will contain a brand new cast. A few people may return but for the most part its going to be new. I can't see Jackman staying on after the Wolverine film and we all know Berry has wanted to bail ever since the first one. I think it will be the same way with the Spider-Man franchise as well following Spider-Man 3. I wouldn't mind if they waited awhile and then re-started the franchise as the Singer team ruined too many key characters (Cyclops, Sabretooth, Striker, to name a few) and the franchise needs a new direction and focus (focus on the team, not just Wolverine).

Seen it opening night I like it, that doesn't mean it is without faults! The script had way to many one liners that weren't funny and there just wasnt enough time for character developement like angel should have been left out. At times it did things very well but at times it did things very bad too. It was action packed and I was highly entertained. I know I will be in line opening night for X-Men 4.

in case any1 didnt no already and hasnt seen it yet, do NOT leave when the credits roll. There is a scene after the credits, a short one, but it is quite interesting. I will not spoil it, so just go see for yourself.

Yeah it's definately worth it since this specific X-Men movie is 10x's better in theatres than it would be on DVD. The whole juggernaut thing and the regenerating man thing made the crowd go nuts from what I saw..............

                      *spoiler*

I really think it was too early to introduce the Phoenix. She really served no purpose for someone so powerful. This one should've just been about the cure....maybe flesh that story out some more.

Also does this mean that all mutants get their power back.....because if so than Rogue would be a killer character in another sequel.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

                          Re: X3

I saw it and thought it was pretty good. I am a big X-men fan, I go way back when wolverine was first intoduced to the X-men while fighting Sauron. I think as someone mentioned above alot of what goes on in the comic book world of the x-men doesn't translate to a good cohesive movie. But certain things this movie could have made better. Why have the Angel in the movie at all? I mean I was glad he was there because he is one of my favorite characters but, they could have least given him something to do, he was one of the original x-men. The whole dark phoenix saga thing could have been left out, that is a movie all by itself. Man, I was hoping Gambit would be in the flik but eh. All in all not a bad movie and quite entertaining. Lastly, they could have let Iceman do some ice bridges that would have been hot.

Oh yeah, the Ghost Rider trailer was off the chain. I will definitely be there for that one! February 16th, 2007.
