I thought I heard the show might be done after this year. Both main actors want 500K per episode or something to that effect?

You know I think it is done. I checked CBS' shows for next year and this is not on the list. This could very well be the Series Finale. They have a new show called "The Class" starting next year.

Strongly disagree. After watching the first 4 seasons on DVD I consider it behind Seinfield, but tied with Cheers (the first 5 seasons) as my favorite TV comedies.

IMO I like it better than seinfeld though I am not a big fan of that show. (its funny but of course I wasn't around then when a show like that, hadn't been done a bunch of times like now)

I plan on getting the season DVD for sure though. (especially if it was the series finale)

It's not. I just learned that KOQ will miss the fall schedule, but will make it in time for midseason.

It wasn't Jerry Stiller's last episode. They decided not to send him to a nearby retirement home. We'll probably see him in early '07.

Probably for the best... You take away Jerry Stiller, and you take away a huge portion of the laughs in that house.

Agreed.The show is nothing without Stiller.You need all three charcters for the show to work.

I don't watch the show regularly because of Stiller. He is just a character that annoys me. I usually fastforward during the parts of the episodes he is in if it isn't part of Doug or Carrie's plot. I just don't like loud, big humor which he is.

To each his own, I guess.... I wasn't a faithful viewer of the show until recently, when my wife started watching it in syndication on the local Fox affiliate... Then I bought her a couple of the season DVDs as a gift, so we watch them together on occasion. Stiller's antics always had us in stitches.
