Re: Your single favorite 80's song
If its cause you think Journey is cheesy and corny, don't go by their 80s music, go by their late 70's. Its like two completely different bands. What can I say, Steve Perry is a vocal legend. Him and Freddy Mercury. Can't beat those two for vocals.Originally posted by SPTO -

Re: Your single favorite 80's song
exactly. Any band that has a song featured on Family Guy is alright by me. Damn, that episode was great.Originally posted by BGarrett7Nothing wrong with Journey. "Don't Stop Believin" is one of the all-time great sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs songs.

True enough. Let me offer the following in my defense: my little sister had what seemed like an endless loop version of Open Arms playing at full volume on her boom box for most of the decade.Originally posted by garnettrules21I'll edit my post too since you did......While definately not my favorite Journey song, millions of people sure liked it and its a classic ballad.

Re: Your single favorite 80's song
This thread got me feeling a bit nostalgic, so a couple of hours ago I started listening to the 80's Hits station on Yahoo's Launchcast music service. Apparently Yahoo enjoys my pain, because their system just landed the following 1-2 punch combo: Seperate Ways-Journey immediately followed by Oh Sherrie - Steve Perry.Originally posted by garnettrules21Well I can definately see how that would ruin an entire group for you.....some people just don't know when to stop....I feel your pain...My uncle used to kill me with the UB40 - Red, Red, Wine.
I need a drink.
