that or those military shows that show our troops, what they do, how they do it for THIS current war. It's more about protecting people for their own good instead of doing stuff for exposure and money.

This reminds me of a horse/cattle wrangling thing I saw on the news last night. They interviewed one guy and they asked him, " how easy is it to steal cattle and horses if you wanted to?". he said" all you need is a 22 and a pickup truck". some criminals or potential criminals thrive off of loopholes/easy open targets like that. the funny thing about that is, it was a show to inform people that stealing cows and horses is still a huge problem. they have seemed to make a bigger problem because the CHIEF of the cattle organization stated how easy it was.

maybe its that some people are too honest and the media reports just that. if thats the case, these people need to be more careful.

best example would be the media talking about a robbery in which they stated they the store had an older security guard in his 80s guarding the front of the store. A potential crook now knows where to look for an easy target.. the mentioning of his age is news but does more harm than good imo.

maybe im just looking too much into it. Fine.. tell us the kid had a gun. but dont give us ideas on how to get one in. the media has a strong influence on us

When I was in high school we used to play that school (Northampton). They were in our district and thats very close to where I live also. The kid had a rifle on the roof of the school. That's crazy. I dont think the kid was planning on injuring anyone but you never know in those situations but he was probably going to kill himself.
