Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Oh, most definitely
When the crew heard of and saw those pics they were disappointed because they thought people would think thats the official Two-Face, and this team is so talented they would never put crap like that out....it looks like somethin a high school zombie fanatic would come up with.
I didnt see Eckhart in the actual make-up, but my buddy did and he said it looked great but obviously there is a lot more work goin into it in post production.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
I beg to differ. I don't really think Holmes is a superb actor by any means, but I see her as a better "pretty girl". Not only that, but I least enjoy a change of actors/actresses for a character in the middle of a series. Take the Oracle in The Matrix, for example. At least in that, however, they describe why she looks different. Now, in this case, Rachel Dawes gets uglier for no reason. But I'd feel pretty much the same way if Maggie Gyllenhaal were in Batman Begins and Katie Holmes were in The Dark Knight. I'd just much prefer to keep whomever was in Batman Begins.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Eh, they're both ugly to me. Maggie's just a better overall actress (barely, though) so she wins in my book. Plus, I don't really think Rachel is supposed to be some overly-pretty character. She's supposed to be assertive, fearless, etc....and Holmes just fails in that department. We'll see how Maggie does.Comment

I agree with Blzer, Maggie is like a broke version of Katie Holmes looks wise. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I'm sure she will be better than Kristen Dunst as Mary Jane.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
The only thing is, pretty much everyone hated Holmes as Rachel and the director listened to the complaints. Since they were keeping the same character (they should've introduced someone else - could have been a perfect chance to introduce Selina Kyle, if they want to go the Dent/Bruce love triangle kind of thing), they had to go with someone that looked enough like Holmes, but could also act...and like you said, Maggie looks enough like Holmes to pull off the character switch.Comment
