Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Principle Vernon dies at 67 (breakfast club)
I just watched him on "The Daily Planet". He was singing "Knocking on Heavens Door" with John Daily at one of his charity golf tourny/concerts. Daily keep yelling "Beeks". It was pretty funny. He really seemed like a good guy.

Re: Principle Vernon dies at 67 (breakfast club)
On a related note... but off-topic to a degree...
As many times as I've seen "The Breakfast Club"... I never thought of him as the Principal. They never call him the Principal in the movie and it just doesn't fit.
A) We had weekend/Breakfast Club-esque detention at my school and the Principal NEVER drew that short straw.
B) Carl, the Janitor, tells him that he's looking at confidential files. No files in a school are confidential to the Principal.
I always thought of him as a Guidance Counselor or Assistant Principal. Hmmmmm... oh well.

Re: Principle Vernon dies at 67 (breakfast club)
Ya...I don't think he was the principal......just one of the teachers who's turn it was to do detention.
He was in an episode of Seinfeld? Which one? Who was he?
He was just one of those guys who could fill the role of the disliked character....and could pull that off well.Comment

- The Opposite (1994) TV Episode .... Cushman
via imdb.com
I looked up the script and he's in there for like 2 minutes. only 5-6 lines. hmm.. seems kinda odd to mention his small role . oh well
"* Cut to Yankee Stadium, and G's job interview
Mr. Cushman : Why don't you tell me about some of your previous job experiences?
George : Alrighty. Ah ... my last job was in publishing ... I got fired for having sex in my office with the cleaning woman.
Mr. Cushman : Go on.
George : Alright, before that, I was in real estate. I quit, because the boss wouldn't let me use his private bathroom. That was it.
Mr. Cushman : Do you talk to everybody like this?
George : Of course.
Mr. Cushman : My niece told me you were different.
George : I am different, yeah.
Mr. Cushman : I gotta tell you, you are the complete opposite of every applicant we've seen.
( Mr. Cushman gets out of his chair )
Mr. Cushman : Ah, Mr. Steinbrenner, sir. There's someone here I'd like you to meet. This is Mr. Costanza. He's one of the applicants.
Mr. Steinbrenner : Nice to meet you.
