Mozilla Or Opera??
I deleted some documents (movie and pictures) yesterday and most have inadvertently screwed up my Mozilla Firefox, because it no longer worked. I uninstalled it and tried to download and install again but up came an exe. or something error message. After repeated attempts, I gave up, and hit the search engine for "alternate browsers to IE" and I stumbled across Opera. I played with it for awhile, looks really good, and then decided to try a Mozilla download off of Opera. Well sure enough I was able to download and install Mozilla without a hitch. Now which one should I keep?

Re: Mozilla Or Opera??
I like the tabbed browsing on Opera better. There is an X in each individual page or "tab" indicator, rather than one little X to the right (the big X in the uppermost right to close the browser, the little X just below to close each individual page. Also if you close the browser it remembers all open pages when you open it later.Comment

You can have individual X's in each tab with FF. Just need to download the Tabbrowser Extension and configure it properly. Same extension will also remember each page you closed when you close FF (or can be set to open certain pages in certain tabs when FF is opened).Comment

Re: Mozilla Or Opera??
p2xgamers - Tools>>Extensions>>double click the tabbed browser extension.
- Goto Gestures and select "Restore the last Tab Session". This should bring up the tabs that were open when you closed FF.
- X tab button. Goto Appearance and highlight Tab. On the right at the top it should say "Closebox in Tabs". Select the "Show in any tab always" option.Comment

I use both fiefox and opera. I like using opera but they need to get the windows media video codecs within their browsers. If they did that i would not even use firefox.Comment

Re: Mozilla Or Opera??
I like some of the Opera "gidgets" but unlike Mozilla extensions, I can't seem to get them to happen.

Re: Mozilla Or Opera??
If you are still trying to get the "X" to work on the tabs, this is the extension I use: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1122/
Just install, restart firefox and everything should work. You can also change the options on it by going to: Tools - Tabs Mix Plus OptionsComment
