Dennis Farina leaving NBC's "Law & Order"

I was just getting used to him being on the show and now he's leaving. Any suggestions as to who would be a good replacement?

Also, I hope they finally explain how he is able to afford $500 silk shirts and etc on the show...I remember that was one thing early on the producers said that was going to remain a mystery until he left. Mob ties or being crooked was a bit too obvious, I'm thinking they are going to reveal he's like a millionaire who got bored or something and decided to become a cop. Any other ideas?

Well either way he's gone. Who do you think will replace him? With all the good shows like 24 and Sopranos and etc ending lately there should be someone who can at least fill in for awhile that would be cool.

Word has it that Jessica Rossi from Conviction will be the new dectective which makes sense at all.
