Classic TV Babes Poll Round 1

16 classic babes. Four 4 girl regionals. Must have appeared in at least one episode pre 1980:
Round 1:
Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery), Elly May (Donna Douglas),Ellie ( Elinor Donahue), Daisy ( Catherine Bach )

Round 2:
Jeannie (Barbara Eden), Batgirl (Yvonne Craig),Maryann (Dawn Wells), Pam (Victoria Principal)

Round 3:
Catwoman (Julie Newmar), Jill (Farrah Fawcett), Emily (Suzanne Pleshett), Elaine (Marilu Henner)

Round 4:
Ginger (Tina Louise), Chrissy (Suzanne Somers), Kelly ( Jaclyn Smith ), Laura (Mary Tyler Moore)

The 4 regional winners and 2 wildcards(the top two losers) will compete in two seperate 3 girl rounds with the winner of each round playing in the finals.

I can honestly say I am not familiar with even one of the ladies in this tournament.

Catherina Bach has nice, strong legs, and appears to be in good shape. I'm a big fan of the legs. The other ladies make me think of grandma on a good make-up day. Grandma died over five years ago, but I think we've reached the window where I can bring her up in forums again.

A quick look at the ladies and my favorites in the lists are Samantha, Jeannie, Mary Ann, and Ginger. I wish Mary Ann and Jeannie weren't the same bracket, but if forced to, I'll have to vote for Jeannie.

I thought about doing a classic babe showdown, so I'm glad to see you doing this.

This is a tough one for me. Although you gotta love Bewitched, how can you go against Daisy Duke?...YOU CAN'T! She was the only reason a young Jistic would even watch the Dukes of Hazzard....oh ok The General Lee was cool too. But I always preferred women to cars...

This is a tough one for me. Although you gotta love Bewitched, how can you go against Daisy Duke?...YOU CAN'T! She was the only reason a young Jistic would even watch the Dukes of Hazzard....oh ok The General Lee was cool too. But I always preferred women to cars...

Hard to go against DD for pure sex appeal. My poll's not as ambitious as yours which was the inspiration for this one.

It almost seems unfair to have Bach in this first grouping..... the others are from the previous era and Bach came around after the women's fitness craze took off. If Elizabeth Montgomery would've pumped iron though.....man, who knows what the extent of her powers could've been! .... and Douglas pic link in the first posting doesn't do her justice. When she starred in that Twilight Zone episode (pre-B.H'billies) she was a cutie.
