And if you havent listened check out pattern against user, querentined ( amazing song), one armed scissor, and rolodex propoganda . Oh yea and for those that know who they are ( im assuming all tmv fans know who they are) whom do you like more tmv or atdi?

I don't think there has ever existed a more overrated band than ATDI.

I was planning on posting that there has never existed a more underrated band than ATDI.

Yes, because I am sick of hearing about how great and incredible a sub-par band is, I don't understand music. Sure. Makes perfect sense.

                To each their own.

For me, I probably can't think of an album with three greater songs to kick off a CD than Relationship of Command.

Arc Arsenal, Pattern Against User, One Armed Scissor...wow.

Is this another one of the long list of EMO bands coming out? I've never heard of them, and probably never will. Just curious.

No, they're more of a rock/alternative band that was around in the late 90's/early 2000's that broke up just as they were starting to become more popular. A lot of the members are now in the group The Mars Volta. They had a hit song in my area called One Armed Scissor. They weren't bad though I was never a fan.

No, ATDI is an old band, from the early-mid 90's until 2001.

                        Real good.

                          Indie/Post Hardcore/Alternative/Progressive...

Actually the band broke up because they didn't want to be limited to a certain genre/sound....go figure.

I recommend anyone/everyone to check them out.

Yeah the band had been playing since the mid 90s. I recommend listening to their early albums Acrobatic Tenement and In Casino Out. For most people out there that thought the break up was bad, I thought it was good, because it led to the great music that is of Mars Volta and Sparta. This band will be one of my all-time favorites. Their music was so real and living in El Paso, you could understand what their songs meant. Especially if you hear Invalid Litter Dept. I recommend hearing this song and then watch the video for it.

I liked 'em and thought they'd actually do better commercially.
