Killa Season is Cam's worst album to date.. easily. The few tracks worth listening to had been out for weeks/months in advance..

    in no order

Ice Cube - Laugh Now, Cry Later
    Gnarles Barkley - St. Elsewhere
    Ghostface Killah - Fishscale

    later this year

    - Lupe's Album should be good if the advance is any sign
    - Joe Budden's album is 100% coming in October and it'll likely be my album of the year
    - Nas new album could go either way, but word is the move to def jam has dampened the product
    - DMX's new album is one im looking forward to ... warily...
    - Freeway's album could go either way depending on how much and what kind of influence 50 has had on it
    - Lloyd Banks album.. anything would be a step up from the last one, and if it doesnt sell it'll be the death knoll for the G-Unit era

It seems like Budden has been supposedly been coming out with an album every year for the past decade. Still only one to date.

Freeway is with G-Unit? Had no idea. I thought he moved to DJ with Jay Z. It might turn out pretty good, I enjoyed Philly Freeway.

Haven't heard much of Nas' album except it's going to be called "Death Of Hip Hop" so the title alone makes it sound interesting.

I agree with those and would add Obie Trices album to the list.

            Agreed.

All the hype I heard about it I thought it was going to bludgeon Supreme Clientele.... Not quite.

Damn what happened to Bone? Even though I couldn't understand what they hell they were saying, I still loved that E. 1999 Eternal album.

Funny Joe Budden story..On Saturday, me and a few of my friends are hanging out on U St in D.C. getting something to eat before we hit a club and we see Joe come up in the restaurant. The thing is he was by himself and didnt have the usual stuff that most rappers have on (The chains, the jewels, the entourage). So one of my friends says "I have to give him some respect....you most rappers hanging out without their crew on some low key ****" and we all agreed. So 10 min later we leave the spot and we are about to go in to this club when we see Joe come up to the same club...now with his whole crew, a couple of groupies, sunglasses and chains on. Its almost like he changed in a phone booth from regular guy to rapper. I just started laughing because its sad that most rappers need those kind of things to feel like they are somebody.

Anyway...the two best albums i heard this year are Lupe's and T.I.
