    My Morning Jacket

I saw the guys open up for Pearl Jam at the Verizon Center on Tuesday night. They put on a wonderful performance and is easily the best opener I've seen. Jim James' vocals were amazing, I loved them. The best part, however, was definitely the stuffed bear on stage getting serenaded by Jim.

Here's the set-list:At Dawn, Gideon, What a Wonderful Man, Wordless Chorus, O is the One that is Real, One Big Holiday, Anytime.

Anybody else on here fans and have seen them live?

I like their CD alot. With them opening up for Pearl Jam makes it a must-see concert. Hopefully they're coming to Indiana.

Well, I saw them twice open up for PJ on May 15th and 16th. Amazing each time. If only the MMJ set was on the PJ bootlegs.....

Maybe not the thread, but how did you like the Pearl Jam portion of the concert? Did you download the bootleg for the show you were at? This was your first time seeing both bands live, correct?
I drive a 2005 Toyota Prius Gas/Electric Hybrid. My last tank was 53.6 miles/gallon. Gas prices fear me!

I thought the Pearl Jam portion was amazing. The show could have been called the Mike McCready show, as he was runnin' around and showin' off all night (see my avatar). Not to mention the addition of the Star Spangled Banner at the end of concert closer Yellow Ledbetter. My seats sucked, so I was catching some reverbs, but it was still an awesome show. I would love to see them again, but that won't be for another 2 years probably.

The highlights of the night, for me, was Small Town, Leash, a cover of Neil Young's F**kin' Up, which had the coolest intro ever, Do the Evolution, Alive, Release (which opened the show) and everything else. At the end of Leash, Eddie said he received a phone call from Dick Chaney that morning. Eddie was curious as to how Dick got his number, so Dick told him he just got it from the NSA. And then Dick asked Eddie to play his favorite song...which Pearl Jam then played Neil Young's F**kin Up.

And of course I downloaded the bootleg. I wish other bands would do this, because its one hell of a keepsake. My only complaint was that Eddie's pre-opener and MMJ wasn't included, but one can only ask for so much.
