I wish too, but upconverted through the A3........this movie looks amazing and I bet on hidef it would look even better.

This movie sucked! I'm a serious horror film enthusiast and for the original Halloween - and all the elements that made it a classic - to be completely defecated on by Zombie like this is a crime.

Did you like the part of his childhood at all? I thought it was great. Although the second part of the movie doesn't have the "Zombie" feel like Devils Rejects does-I think the movie is pretty damn good. I have the directors cut and am curious about the theatre version. You wanna talk about avoiding a movie at all costs-my vote would go to Hatchet-what a piece of crap that is!

The Unrated Cut had some very intense scenes that weren't in the Theater version, and one of those was the rape scene by the 2 guards of the girl in Michael's cell. They didn't show that in the theater.

I really liked this version, but to each his own.

This may be kind of late but I just saw this movie over the weekend and I thought it was great! I am surprised how many people on this thread didn't like it. I love how Zombie tells the story of Michael Myers, the kid who played him was great. I also liked how the adult Myers was so big and monster like. When Michael returns home those scenes to me were familar from the original where he is in the neighborhood watching the girls. I may be one of the few but I was impressed with this remake!
