Re: Best Movie Soundtrack
Okay...I LOVE the BTTF movies and I thought I knew them inside and out...but where is the Eric Clapton song? I know the two Huey Lewis songs in the first one, ZZ Top did the song "Doubleback" in the third one, and there were a lot of great oldies songs in there as well, but I don't remember Clapton.Originally posted by SPTOMan I can't believe none of you picked BACK TO THE FUTURE! It has my favourite Eric Clapton song on it. ("heaven is one step away")“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. Re: Best Movie Soundtrack
Both soundtracks were great, and totally different. I loved the use of all the old Ennio Morricone western tracks in the second one, especially.Originally posted by FlyboyHow the HELL did I forget the two Kill Bill Volume soundtracks? Wow.
Where else, other than in a Tarantino film, will you find Ennio Morricone, Nancy Sinatra, Al Hirt (the Green Hornet theme), Japanese rock, and Isaac Hayes all in one movie?“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Re: Best Movie Soundtrack
As someone noted it's on the first BTTF soundtrack. The song can be heard briefly in one scene. I think it's when Marty is waking up to go to the Hill Valley Mall.
Either way it's a pretty good song and you can find it on a Clapton compilation CD.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Best Movie Soundtrack
I know the song pretty well, I just didn't remember it in the film.
Guess it comes on his clock radio or something?“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment

The Girl Next Door's soundtrack would be awesome if it included all of the songs from the movie.Originally posted by devilsjawI always thought Dazed and Confused had a great soundtrack, as well as The Girl Next Door.

Great album, but I wasn't a big fan of the movie version. The apostles get on the bus at the end?
