It's entertainment and technology! I wonder how long this took to set up, time, and coordinate. Regardless, it's pretty cool. For those who just watch the video without reading, it's meant to recreate the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas.

Try it with Dr Pepper, whenever I drink it with a mint in my mouth, it foams more than diet coke.

Make sure the 2 liter is warm, doesn't work with cold soda.

Well. That's very good. My co-worker and I had a 2liter of Diet Coke and a box of mentos Wednesday after work. He left the coke and mentos in his car and it was in the 90s all day, so trying to open the coke just to put the mentos in was a task. It kept fizzing up. Anyway, he just poured the whole box in and it was pretty cool. It lasted like 2 seconds, but it was a fun experiment.

Done it, Take a room temp two liter of DIET cola, any brand. Put two mentos in and cap it. You have to be very quick there because the reaction is instantaneous. From there you shake it, then slam it on a hard surface, preferably a street or driveway and there you have it. A mentos Missle/Bomb/Projectile thing.

It's almost as fun as NCAA 2006.

Does it only work once per bottle? Or can you reuse it over and over? Otherwise... it seems like a waste.
