I did notice that Vin Diesel is in it from the trailer. I'm assuming he's only a cameo though.

Yeah, I was going to say something about that EG.

That's the only thing that intruiges me...just to see how the hell his character is connected to this one.

And yet, I still wont see the movie until either DVD or when it's on TV in a few years...but I did like the first one, unlike most people it seems.

I still have no interest, just thought it was funny that the new trailers have Diesel in it, meaning they don't have high hopes for this movie and hoping people will see it because they feel he's in the movie. I mean, Vin says "You ready kid?" in the trailer, they aren't hiding the fact he's in the movie.

Sounds like a TBS movie for me.

Yeah, I'm not interested enough to go to the theaters for it...but since I was a big fan of the first one(my friend and I could recite the lines as we watched it...and proceeded to do so and piss the people around us off whenever we were at a friends' house) I just think it's funny that they're putting VD in this one.

And...thinking about it...it's almost like they added him late, once they realized no one wanted to see it...because you'd think they would've had him in the first two trailers they released.

Well, he's not in either theatrical trailer, just checked to see (that's 5 mins of my life lost), he's only in the TV trailers. Which tells me this movie is really a pile of ****.

whats wrong with another cheesy action movie? we've been watching them for decades. Its only we see imports doing the action, which is cool since i'm a fan of drifting shows. Its meant for entertainment, plus i think its comedy with all these corny one liners.

Its not often we get a movie about street racing and i get pumped watching the race scenes listenin to blow off valves because i have so much fun watching and racing myself. It sounds like its popular to hate things that are popular.

If you don't want to see it, don't see it. Believe me... I thought that LOTR trilogy was not worth seeing two minutes of, let alone the Harry Potter novels even being worth reading more than two pages of. It's all about preference. Not saying that I prefer this movie, but it's a car movie with action being the underlying structure of it all. So, I'm sorry if this movie "offends" you in some way, but this is only the third installment of the series.

The only reason I believe they are going overboard is because the characters aren't the same anymore, let alone it being on the other side of the world.
When a movie like this has such a profound negative effect on our youth then I believe they shouldn't be made either.....let alone the fact that they are completely lame. Street racing deaths have spiked since the release of the first movie and it is borderline criminal for the studio and producers to continue to make sequels off of this crap.
