    Warped Tour...

Well, it's that time of the year again. The Warped Tour is visiting Kansas City today so I'm up early and ready to start drinking. Hopefully I don't pass out or get sunburned too bad. I guess there's about 30+ bands there so it should be fun.

Ahh Warped Tour. Drinking, moshing, all that jazz.

I remember back in college going there, splitting a case of 'Stones, and bashing the hell out of the punks.

I've heard it's a big emo fest now...but I guess that's the trend punk has tended to. I remember getting the local music shop to start stocking punk in the mid-90's because my buddies and I were a guaranteed twenty disc sale.

        Warped Tour, aka Drunkfest.

My favorite band canceled all tour dates a month ago (The Fall of Troy), but there are still a few bands I will enjoy seeing. Chiodos, Saosin, The Bled, and Thursday.

Wow, this lineup is awful. Haha.

Sounds like a really crappy concert outside of Yellowcard. I hope that whiney bitch from Dashboard doesnt get you all teary eyed.

The Fall of Troy dropped because the guys were having problems. Frusterations of being on tour...

Sad because Warped Tour is such a wide fan base.

Man...I MUST be getting old. I haven't heard of any of the bands you guys are listing, and I was a punk diehard in the late 90's (Strung Out, Unwritten Law, Good Riddance, Millencolin, Lagwagon, Propaghandi, etc.).

Maybe Warped Tour is all about this new "emo" music I've been hearing about from my siblings.

Not really. Maybe its just you but I think that any other person would be pretty excited with that lineup. Im really looking forward to seeing 311 live, every other band will build my anticipation.

I saw Dashboard one time and it was a really good concert. Everyone really gets into it. I don't really care for the lineup this year compared to last year but I am pumped about Senses Fail playing an acoustic set.

Actually don't really mind the sound of that line-up.

That said, don't have tickets and I wouldn't be buying them anyway.

They come to Boston at all? Or did I already miss it?

I might be going to Soulfest in NH soon. Its an all-Christian lineup but some of my favorite rock bands will be there so it would be worth the ride down. Im looking foward to Dead Poetic the most I think, I haven't seen them live yet.
