    Click

Anyone see this movie yet? It's getting mixed reviews, mostly negative. Movie comedies have been sucking lately, and what is the appeal of lamebrain Adam Sandler?

    Re: Click

I'm a fan of most of Sandler's movies and I want to see this one too. I really haven't disliked any of his movies that I have seen but there's been a couple I really didn't care too much for like Punch Drunk Love and Anger Management. I have never felt the urge to watch Little Nicky or Eight Crazy Nights. I really like 50 First Dates, Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer, Spanglish, and Mr Deeds (EDIT How could I forget the Waterboy!). The others are funny too, those are just my favorites.

I think Click looks funny but not like it will be one of my favorite Sandler movies. I hope to see it next week though.

      Re: Click

Probably going to see it tonight. My girlfriend wants to see a comedy and "Click" and "The Break Up" are the only 2 playing at the theater by me.

I've also been a fan of Sandler's in the past. Especially some of his older movies (Waterboy, Billy Madison etc...). I didn't like Little Nicky or Punch Drunk Love too much.

        Re: Click

Click starts into a comedy and seems like a regular Sandler movue but has some "tear jerker" moments and the last half or so is pretty good IMO. Not a real funny movie, but not bad, it has its moments. Its not as "goofy"(couldnt think of a better word) as a lot of his movies. It has a serious side in it as well.

Overall I enjoyed it. Sorry., im not much for writting reviews.

            Re: Click

I'd see it just to see Kate Beckinsale, to be honest.

Plus I'm a fan of Sandler's work...especially big Daddy, Waterboy and Billy Madison.

I might see it, if I can get a good group of friends to go with.

                  Re: Click

For some reason, I get a "It's a Wonderful Life" vibe from the previews. It looks like the remote malfunctions, fast forwards through his life, and Adam Sandler learns a valuable lesson on experiencing each of life's moments to the fullest. Christopher Walken is the guardian angel character and somehow sets everything right when Sandler expresses all of his regrets at the end.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sandler goes back in time and finds himself back at the Bed, Bath, and Beyond before everything happened. Even better, he tries to find Walken's crazy lab in the store, but it's no longer there. He goes home and hugs his family. The end.

I may be totally wrong, but, for some reason, I'm convinced myself that this is exactly how the movie goes and it doesn't sound very good. Everything fits perfectly.

I'm telling you, finding this out would be like discovering the lost city/island of Atlantis.

No matter what technologies are developed, what instruments are invented, and advanced techniques are implemented, this will never be explained. Scientists and pop cultural historians will be trying to get to the bottom of this eons into the future.

The ONLY thing I ever liked him in was Punch Drunk Love, and that is because of the director, who had the sense to write Sandler's deficiencies as a performer/actor/comedian into the screenplay.

I'm still tempted to sit through all that inevitable pain due strictly to the intense magnetic pull of Kate Beckinsdale's hotness, especially with that American accent she's trotting out in the film.

Congratulations, you have just graduated from Hollywood Screenplay Formula University. In celebration of your achievement, you will be given a 4-pack of "It's a Wonderful Life", "Mr. Destiny", "The Family Man" and "Click" to watch so the tenets of bland predictability never leave your brain. Well done.

i liked sandlers movies too. i thought punch drunk love was rather good. maybe alittle TOO different for some of you.

im alittle too cheap to spend 10 bucks, no less 5 bucks for a rental, on movies im quite unsure about. i think i may be washed out of current mainstream movies. im going back to my routes. lol sandlot, home alone 1 & 2, jurassic park are just a few ive been watching since summer started. 50 cent rentals at block buster on vhs seems to suffice me.

Funny movie at the beginning and the end. The middle was pretty sad and moving. Made me think about family and life in general.

Decent movie, but be prepared for some pretty sad parts in the middle.

I would have to say that 100% of Adam Sandler's movies have been good to me... I loved Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, Bulletproof, Airheads, Mr. Deeds, Eight Crazy Nights, The Longest Yard, and much much more... That stat in itself will propel me to see this movie, good or not. I have to give back to the actor who has given me nothing but laughs and more laughs.
