    Need a New PC

    Hey fellas,

I've had my current Dell for 5 years and I think its really time I get a new one. I'm looking for one not too pricey (between $650 and $1200 maybe) that doesnt need a ton of space (I've been using 37 gigs the last few years and I'm always hovering around 1 or 2 gigs of free space) so 100 gigs should be plenty. I dont do a ton of gaming on it but that might just be because my current PC hasnt been able to run any games too well as theyve become more advanced but I'd like one that can run a game smoothly with a nice graphics card.

Anyone have any suggestions for a new Dell?

I personally wouldn't buy a dell...to me they are way overpriced. I'm a compaq/hp guy. I would just look around on various electronic store websites and what not. Most offer detailed specs and plenty of helpful reviews.

Well if you plan on spending upto $1200, you could build a really kickass PC. It's been about 3 years since I built mine (spent about $650) and only upgraded the video card and added more memory since then and can still play most of the newer games.

I was only going Dell because I have a thing for $350 off any PC from them.

I've had no problems with my Dell and it's basically the best experience with a PC that i've had. I'd go with it especially if you can get a deal.

Apple has a bunch of cool summer and back-to-school deals right now on both notebooks and desktops. I'd be all over a Macbook right now, but alas, my PowerBook G4 is only 1 1/2 years old and running super-strong.
