    Wireless question

Ok, I am pretty much not at all computer savvy. I am moving in with a roommate. My roommate has a wireless router.

    1. I have no idea what I need for that, is there a wireless card or something that I can just plug into the usb. I don't really want to have to pay for someone to install something.

    or

    2. Maybe can I still plug a wire in for my internet, that way I don't have to by a wireless adapter for my pc and 360.

    Thanks for the help.

        you can do both...
1.) you can buy a USB wireless adapter. You'll want to probably get 802.11G adapter... most likely thats the type of router your friend has but even if he doesnt, it will still work if he has 802.11B. If he surprisingly has an 802.11N router then get an N card, it will be much faster than even G. Here is a search on newegg for USB2.0 adapters. Typically go with a brand name you know... the first name on that list I see is ASUS for 27.99.

2.) depending on your distance from the router, typically you can just run a cat5 cable from the router to your PC. Most routers have wired in addition to the wireless connectivity. Ask your friend if he knows for sure.
