    Firefox slow?

    Hey guys,

Anyone that uses Firefox find that it is slow in loading some webpages? This just started to happen to me in the last few days. Sometimes I have trouble even opening firefox from the get go. There is this box that appears that says "Firefox has encountered an error and needs to shut down" or I will get another box that says "Shockwave flash. The plug-in has performed an illegal operation. It is strongly advised that you re-start Firefox". Only when I re-start firefox, I get the same dang box telling me either Firefox has encountered an error or the plug-in has performed an illegal operation. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a solution? I have been forced to use IE for now but would much rather use Firefox if I can get it fixed. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Re: Firefox slow?

    Two suggestions:

    1. Are you sure you have the latest version of Firefox, 1.5.0.4?

    2. Are you using the Fasterfox extension? That speeds up the browser quite a bit.

    Good luck.

    Take care,

      Re: Firefox slow?

Mine problem has been a little different, my Firefox has been freezing everytime I open it. It's as if the Forecast Fox bar tries to load in the bottom right and just before it finishes the thing locks up. I deleted everything and reinstalled, and it worked fine - for one day. Then back to freezing again.
