    Business week's top innovative ideas

My step-dad's comany made the list twice this year. He works for Davison Design & Development, Inc.

He helped design the Hover Creeper:

and his company, but not he himself, helped design the bikeboard:

He actually filmed the promotional video for the Hover Creeper right in my garage.

If you dont click on the links, the Hover Creeper is a mechanics tool. It's a creeper for going under automobiles, but instead of running on wheels, it actually floats on air. It also has valves built right in to hook up your air-powered tools.

Pretty cool stuff if you look around at all the awards.

wow! That hover creeper gadget is amazing... Your step-dad seems like quite the engineer to have thought that design up.

Well, it wasn't all his design... but he helped.

a bike you have to stand on? that sucks imo. lol but id rather sit than stand.

the other idea looks nice.. im just thinking, if a bike idea like that can win, what cant?

I like the creeper. I wonder how loud it is when it's hooked up ??

He says it's not very loud at all... just a slight hissing sound.

Wonder if you can use it like a skate board and stand on it. Like those boards in Back To The Future II. You would just need a really long hose.
