    X-Men

So, after I saw the trailer for X-MEn THe last Stand, I went on a mission to find the first 2 movies because the trailer impressed me a lot. It was very hard to find the orginal X-Men, because of the 3rd one coming out and the video stores in my area (Blockbuster and Hollywood) had only 1 copy each. I finally got my hands on the orginal last night, even after ive heard that the 3rd was not that amazing, but i also that the first 2 were just so good and the 3rd did not live up the first 2.

wow, X-men is TERRIBLE, i was extremly dissapointed in theh film. For being a pretty short action movie, it was suprisinly boring, the action in my opinion was dull, the film didn't make me care about the characters at all. IN fact, i wanted Magento to succedd in making the UN leaders mutants just so something exciting would happen. I will still probably see the 2nd and 3rd, but what a dissapointment.

On a happier note, Ian McKellen does not get the credit he deserves for his acting, he is great.

I have not read the comics or seen the cartoons, i had just heard it was really good movie, and i was extremly dissapointed.

I do however like other superhero/comic movies. I love the Spiderman movies, am highly anticipating Superman Returns(this weekend), loved Batman Begins, thought V for Vendetta was REALLY good, but i dont think u would count that as a superhero movie.

Do you think that you have to be a X-men fan to enjoy the movie? I had never read comics at all really. Never read Spiderman, and I love those so i dunno...

Well, it wasn't terrible, but X-men 1 wasn't GREAT. It was pretty good, IMHO. And that's what Superman Returns is, a pretty good movie, just not the GREAT one most people were expecting. I think the sequel to Superman Returns will be much better, just like X2 was MUCH better than X-men 1.

I mean it wasn't the worst movie I ever saw, but I at expected it to be much better than it was. To me it wasn't even like, "that was lame, but at least teh action scenes were cool."

I didn't like Wolferine's personality at all, in fact the any characters i did like were magento and the professior.

I guess im just not a x-men type of guy.

Yeah, I guess you aren't a X-Men type of guy if you don't like Wolverine.
