    Emily Browning

Why in the hell isn't this kid in more movies? I just saw A Series of Unfortunate Events for the first time last night, and the only reason I kept watching was because I was watching this beautiful young girl steal the show in this movie. She is a brilliant young actress, and according to IMDB, she has only been in one movie since then (and the only other sort of 'bigger' movie she was in before that was Darkness Falls).

I wonder why she's not being casted for more than she has been. She has a lot of talent and a lot of charm, and she is incredibly good-looking for a kid her age. I would like to see her in some more movies in America (I heard she's an Australian native, so maybe she doesn't get as many auditions or something).

The main reason I bring this up is because America seems to be in love with Dakota Fanning; but I'd take Browning over her in a movie any day.

    Does anyone else agree?

Think it could be the fact that she is 17(almost 18) and Dakota Fanning is 12????? Her acting skills, in all fairness, should be better than Fanning's. Not to mention, have you ever seen an interview with Dakota? She is amazingly intelligent for a girl her age.

She's cute, not beautiful, but I can't comment on any of her work, 'cause I don't think I've seen her in anything.

Not to steal your thunder or your thread, but the best young actress right now is Conchita Campbell, hands down.

Wow, I thought she was 14 at most. Did not know that.

However, I don't quite know if that really detracts anything from her still. But, I'm just surprised she hasn't been in as much.

I know, Fanning is terrific. But I find her second to Browning (though she's 17... wow, did not know that).

Name doesn't ring a bell. What is she in?

Conchita Campell plays Maia on USA's hit series, The 4400, and she is as equal as Fanning when it comes to acting and she's only 10.

All three are fabolous young actors.

I'm looking forward to the future of movies.
