    The Woodsman

Has anyone seen this movie? It's an EXTREMELY controversial subject, but I thought it was an incredible movie. It's about the life of a sex offender (Kevin Bacon). I'd go on describing the movie, but I wouldn't do it justice. I know it's an extremely taboo subject, but I strongly recommend seeing this movie. It's one of the better films I've seen in a while, and Kevin Bacon is incredible.

I agree, it was a fantastic movie. Hollywood needs more movies like this but they're too afraid to address subject matter in alot of cases. But these subjects are entirely interesting (albeit in this case also somewhat sickening) and real. Kinda like watching a train wreck or something. You can't help but not turn away even though it's revolting.

It's a testament to the movie staff that they actually got the film made. No publisher was willing to take it on.

If you like intelligent and thought provoking dramas you can't go wrong with this one. It's right up there with American History X IMO.

Highly recommended as well. Tremendous insight into the mind of a pedophile. I think the reason why few would want to handle this is because everyone thinks all pedophiles are aggressive and controlling. Great symbolic scene in this movie as well.

YES! Great movie- as usual The Bacon shines. Kevin and the great Edgar G. Robinson are the two most unlikely actors never even nominated for an Oscar, but of course KB still has a good chance.

Loved the movie and i can never look at a red rubber ball the same again. Though i loved it i can't watching too many times, i get really angry thinking about the subject.
