This is my first season watching the show, and I've caught every episode but one so far. All I have to say is, this show is absolutely ridiculous. In a good way.

Seeing as I'm a 24 newb, how do previous seasons compare to this one?

This weeks episode only got a 6.5 rating, the lowest this season. It appears viewers are tuning out. The Bachelor at a later time slot got a 7.0

In its 6th year, the show has become "blah" to many. The White House, CTU and heck the United States, can only be compromised so many times until it becomes too hard to believe or even be interested in.

Remember last season with the nerve gas getting into CTU? If 24 was reality, we'd have a lot of WTF questions.

All that being said, I'm still interested. It may not be my favorites show on TV, in fact, my favorited ahow just got cancelled, so...whatever.

I watched the NCAA championship game. That alone shows that this show has less luster than it used to, at least to me. They've failed on almost all of my expectations, and are now even taking the spotlight away from Jack to give time to character that I don't care about.

However, I'm going to chalk up the ratings drop to the basketball game. If it continues to drop over a few weeks, like most shows losing viewers will, then we can worry.

I have a feeling Jack will just beat the crap out of all the Nielsen viewers until all of them watch 24 on a weekly basis.

see, I used to watch this show every week religiously, but this season just seems slow or boring to me...whatever it is.

I'm 1/3 of the way through Season 3. Great season so far!!!

I'm also not enjoying Season 6...but the reason Mondays episode was so low was because of the NCAA championship. That's all.
