    Googles Continual Dominance Plan.......

Just heard it on the news. It's pretty tight that a company that's so big is coming to an economy thatneeds it.

    Google Expanding

I wonder how this will boost the Michigan economy.

I wonder what some of those jobs pay? I heard Google pays pretty good.

It's neat that he is bringing a large employment opportunity back to the place he grew up, in a way that won't compromise privately owned businesses.

But where does the XBOX & XBOX 360 (including XBOX Live) add up in that equation? Those are great friendship tools I think, plus Bill is doing that save the world thing in a few years.......

                    It doesn't really.

For what it's worth, Gates is just a figurehead at MS. Nothing more, nothing less.

it's only a matter of time before Google jumps the shark like AOL and MS did...at one time people actually liked those companies too. I really think that Google will cease to be known (at some point) as that "cute and cuddly search engine" and be known as the evil monopoly big company type.

I'm still pissed I sold my 10 shares at $293 and they are at $400ish today.

As long as their service is still top notch they'll be loved. The problem with AOL and MS and even Yahoo is that they got so big and bloated that their quality dipped to the point that people noticed them stretching themselves thin.

AOL is trying to mend things as they MAY be offering their broadband service for free! They figure they can take the hit that way and try to recoup based on advertising sales elsewhere. It should be interesting to see what happens. The decision isn't going to be made for another couple months or so.

Don't forget that AOL means almost on-line.
