it's only a matter of time before Google jumps the shark like AOL and MS did...at one time people actually liked those companies too. I really think that Google will cease to be known (at some point) as that "cute and cuddly search engine" and be known as the evil monopoly big company type.

It's not that they turn into an evil empire it's that something else just does it better.

First it was Yahoo now it's Google. When the market shifts it will be something else. Google in 5 years might just be another stock out there.

MS was once a "super-stock" now it's not. Someone somewhere will come out with a windows killer. And someone somewhere will offer you a better way to get information from the internet. Plus with the internet what could ultimately spell the decline of Google isn't another search engine but how we use computers in 5 years.

I have a feeling that in 5 years most people won't be using computers but rather super Ipods. Basically they would be PCs in Ipod form.
