    The Notebook

I finally got around to seeing this film and I really enjoyed it. The Notebook has made my list of the Top 10 Chick Flicks of the past 10 years. It's not as good as A Walk To Remember though.

The acting was top notch and McAdams/Gosling had great chemistry together.

I'll have to keep my eye out for the next movie based on a Nicholas Sparks novel.

It's probably the worst 'chick flick' I've ever seen and I generally enjoy chick flicks.

You know how I know you're gay? You admit to liking The Notebook on an internet message board about video games and sports.

I only liked one part. That was the quick glimpse of McAdams topless.

how are u guys saying ppl are gay for admitting they like love stories?

this reminds me of last summer... i was doing ceramic tiles at this huge church that was under construction, and these drywall and electric guys kept the music blasting and it was on a hard rock station.. then, one day they 4got their stereo and we had ours so we put it on a station that plays phil collins, bsb, the police, etc, and we got made fun of hard... so what happens? we had to go to the room they were working on and they're signing bsb... hmm, wut happened to their machoness?

plz, u guys make fun but watch these movies too...

as for me, this is mine and my g/fs movie as it has alotta stuff that happened b/t us (no, not the 3 possible memeber of the relationship loh).... either way, i loved it... we saw it in theatres and first day it came out, i bought us each a dvd, and then i bought us each the actual book...

u guys want a good read, i suggest the book... that **** made me tear, crazy

I'm not going to lie, I've seen the movie numerous times, and think it's great. One of the best love stories I've ever heard/seen.

A Walk to Remember (Mandy Moore) and Message in a Bottle (Kevin Costner) are both by him. There is also a novel that is a "sequel" to The Notebook called The Wedding that focuses on Noah and Allie's daughter and her husband. Never read it, just saw it at Books-a-Million one day.

I've seen the Nicholas Sparks novel based movies on cable, and they're actually pretty good...I like that they don't end up in typical "happily ever after" movie fashion.

I liked the movie, it was really intense, and I went and watched it by myself in the theaters

I do have a copy of it laying around too. I just love chic flics for some reason.
