    103 Inch Plasma TV

All I can say is....DAYUM. Imagine what NCAA would look like on that.

TOKYO - Matsu****a Electric Industrial Co. Ltd., the maker of Panasonic brand electronics, said on Monday it planned to launch the world's largest plasma television by the end of the year.

Measuring 2.4 meters by 1.4 meters (94 by 55 in) and weighing 215 kg (473 lb.), the 103-inch (measured diagonally) panel is bigger than a double-sized mattress and almost as heavy as an upright piano.

The world's largest consumer electronics maker has yet to set the price, but Matsu****a's 65-inch plasma TVs, its largest available now, sell for about $7,500 in Japan.

I like how the name of the company didn't make it past the OS sensors. Actually the heir to that company used to race Indy cars. I think his name was Hiro Matsu****a, without the asterixes of course. Nice tv by the way.

I guess the price isn't that bad, but it could be a little higher after renting a crane to get it in your home...

The only price they gave was of the 65" plasma, at $7500. That wasn't for the 103"

Nice tv, but I'd be too obsessive/compulsive to really enjoy it. No one would be allowed to touch the tv or the remote. Can you imagine having to return that thing to get a replacement?

No offense, but wouldn't the picture be worse with a T.V. that big?

As long as 1080p is featured (and supported), I don't see that T.V. being any better than a 60" T.V.

If you need a TV that big and can afford it, you may as well just buy or build a movie theater.

I could've sworn I read on another site that the 103" was going for approximately $20K.

Hmm, so getting 10 for that DirecTV Titanium package is out of the question I guess.
