    Saw 2

I'm a little late to the party as I just saw Saw 2. I still haven't watched Saw 1 yet.

This film kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

The death traps were pretty clever and Donnie Wahlberg was good in the lead role.

I didn't know Peter Kingsley was Jigsaw. I guess Jack Bauer didn't finish him off, LOL.

I look foward to Saw 3.

    SPOILERS

What I didn't get was how most of the victims got inside the house. It was explained the skinhead looking guy kidnapped the girl from 7th Heaven. Jigsaw had cancer and was an old guy and the apprentice was a skinny chick, so I have a hard time believing they could have captured the other victims.

And that was your first mistake. 2 would've been even better had you seen 1 first.

Much better. But he'll still enjoy it.

          UGH, YOU JUST RUINED IT!!!

Meh, maybe you'll have short-term memory loss and maybe you didn't ruin it. We'll see.

Just make sure that you see the first one... QUICK!

Donnie Wahlberg was very good indeed. As a matter of fact, the casting overall was superb compared to the first one (I just don't really like Cary Elwes).

Haha his name is Tobin Bell, as opposed to his alter ego on 24.

It doesn't really say, and I don't think it's really too important. You'll see how some things are explained in Saw (I), and maybe it will further help you understand what things, though not shown, can be explained in Saw II.

Isn't there a thread on this movie already?

I liked it, but the first Saw has a much bigger impact.

It doesn't if you see the second one first! Oh MAN that was a big mistake on his part.

Oh well... hopefully he'll still love it.

Very much so. It's depressing, really.

My favorite "potential trilogy" franchise started out as Scream (don't ask), then went on to The Matrix, and is now Saw. Saw III better be a conclusion, and end with a bang as the other two have.

Pfft, aside from Randy Meeks, Dewey was the best character of the trilogy.

No, his character is fine... it's his face.

I don't have an excuse for why the trilogy dwindled for me. I mean, I'd still watch any of the movies if I were asked to or if they were on T.V., no doubt. But, I think that I realized that there were other franchises out there, like Saw, that went in a much better horror movie route. Now, I'm less interested in the slasher movies, and more interested in the torture (or psychological) horrors.
