Unless you have studied in both countries, I would stick to your University answer. I doubt you have spent so little as one day in an American College.
It would depend on the American University being discussed as for the usefullness on wiki.Comment

You do realize that anyone can just go on Wiki and add whatever they like.
Actually, if you're doing a paper that requires say 10 sources, the teacher might tell you that you can use maybe 1 or 2 non-academic sources, but the rest would have to be academic ones and scholarly journals and what-not. I'd be shocked if anywhere in the world an instructor would let you write a paper using only Wiki. That'd be laughable.Last edited by Vince; 07-13-2006, 11:49 PM.Comment

Re: Best Online Encyclopedia
Yeah, I had high school classes that didn't even let us use Wiki. I prefer to stay away from it because, while it does have it's merits, you can never be sure that what you are getting is fact.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers
Marquette Golden Eagles | Milwaukee Bucks | Milwaukee PanthersComment

That response still holds true.

Absolutely.
Use what you like bottom line, or whatever sources your professor allows. Hows that for an answer.Comment

I find wiki to be interesting and informative but one should always have multiple sources to back up what you're trying to say.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
