Itunes is frustrating me to no end...

I'm trying to put Videos in my sister's Ipod, but each time I try to enter Itunes, I get this:

"iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Now I figured the solution would maybe to to download the standalone Quicktime player, but when I try to install that, I get an error message.

Are there any Itunes alternatives that allow you to put movies in the Ipod?

    Thanks

I've been trying out a program that will convert DVDs as well as almost any type of video and put it straight into your iPod. It can be found at
http://m2convert.com/. Seems to work really well and it's only $29.95.

You'll need to re-install iTunes with the latest version.
