    Re: The Amazing Race 10

    - No more cheerleaders It looks like they didn't even finish the task but the producers let them go the final mat.

    - Once they showed the gay team at the final task, I knew the guy wouldn't be able to shoot the arrow. Brandon from Survivor 3 did the same thing. Even the Mongolian guy was cracking up.

    - This episode set a new record for cars breaking down. I know some people are probably upset Lyn & Karlyn didn't stop for the models, but I wouldn't have stopped either.

    - Before this season started I though the models might act like Eric/Jeremy from last seaosn but they don't. I actually like this team and hopefully they go far.

    - I find Sarah annoying. She breaks down too easily.

    - 2 episodes in and Phil has yet to do the finger point at the final mat. Hopefully he does it next week.

I agree 100% (even though I did like Eric and Jeremy last season). When I heard a male model team was on the race, I thought they'd act like jackasses the entire time, but so far they seem pretty cool. I really want them to win the race.

Rob and Kimberly remind me a lot of Jonathan and Victoria from Season 6, should be interesting to see how they act later on in the show.

        Re: The Amazing Race 10

        - This episode was absolutely hilarious with all the things going on, the animal with the cart of jugs running away TWICE from Sarah/Peter, Rob saying the reason he was on the team was because he knew where he was going and then gets lost, KY fighting just about everytime they showed them.

        - I do not like the models or Sarah/Peter. During every interview shot the models have to mention how they were drug addicts and now come back. WE GET IT!! Peter seems every bit as a douche as Rob, way overbearing then trying to use Sarah's artificial leg to get some money.

        - Guess I will root for the brothers and the beauty queens.

          - Finally no more begging. I like the new twist. Instead of taking away a teams money and clothes in a non-elim leg, they now have to finish in 1st place the next leg or reciever a 30 min time penalty.

I always thought the begging was pointless and it didn't provide much
entertainment. I'm sure other people hated to see teams beg in poor
          countries too.

          - Those India driving segments were priceless. The guy with the glasses
cracked me up with his no drinking and driving lecture. What's the deal with
          those "car horns"? LOL

          - At this point I'm going with the attractive blondes to win. They're pretty
          ruthless.

          - Once again, no finger pointing from Phil at the mat

            Re: The Amazing Race 10

I don't know about you, but I lost some respect for the beauty queens when they laughed at the coal miners with Peter and Sarah. I thought that was cruel, especially given the fact that the coal miners have been nice to everybody.

It was obviously non-elimination. Phil tipped us off on this one. He said last week, "Who will be eliminated tonight?" This week he said, "Who will be eliminated next?" What's the point of saying, "The last team to arrive MAY be eliminated," if you're going to let us know before hand. That was disappointing, but the episode was tremendous itself, and that more than made up for it.

I can't stand Peter. Not only does he make fun of the coal miners, but when Sarah tells him they need to be a team and he needs to be more sympathetic, he tells her he likes who he is and how he's been acting. Not to mention he made her do the rope ascending road block last week.

Rob and Kimberly surprisingly didn't fight. Either that or they just didn't show them enough.

I really dislike Peter and Sarah.

I really want Erwin and Godwin to win the race, they seem cool and they're nice to everyone. I haven't seen them do any shady stuff to any other teams.

Peter is easily the biggest jackass this season. Last week he was laughing while Sarah was climbing the rock. He was even trying to be a comedian by telling Sarah to spit on one of the male models during the road block. And then he also threatened to quit earlier.

I was glad the Beauty Queens went out of there way to not help him last night.

CBS has ordered another edition of TAR.

Yeah, and it won't be an all-star edition, like Phil had previously hinted. I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone else miss the fact that Phil no longer says those immortal words, "A detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons?"

                    - The Cho brothers were crazy to help the rednecks out like that. Not only did
they make it tougher for themselves but they risked pissing off other teams
by letting the Rednecks grab the fast foward. I would like to think it's all part of a strategy of helping out a weak team thus hoping a stronger teams gets eliminated, but the Cho brothers haven't said anything on camera about this. It seems like they just want to be nice.

                    - Hopefully the boss of the Kuwait policeman doesn't watch TAR. He probably
isn't thrilled a cop would turn on his sirens to help out reality tv show contestants.

I'm so glad Peter and Sarah are gone, and that she broke up with him on the Philimination mat. I don't know if you noticed, but they had McDonald's bags and cups in the car as they searched for the detour. If you have time to stop at the Golden Arches when in last place, you shouldn't be surprised when you get kicked off the race.

I thought it was so anti-climactic that the Kentuckians were marked for elimination, and then...BOOM! FAST FORWARD! That took the tension out of the leg regarding them.

Team Alabama is easily my least favorite still in the race. Trying to pull the man helping them away from the beauty queens was cruel. The guy just helped you out. Don't yank and pull on his arm. He'll help who he wants to help. There's no excuse for getting physical with him.

It's funny that the "back-pack" alliance is just that. At the back of the pack.

                        Re: The Amazing Race 10

It looks like there will be an all-stars edition according to Reality Blurred:

"At least two past Amazing Race teams have confirmed that there will be an all-star season that’s starting production soon, and they’ve done so because they’re pissed off that they weren’t chosen to compete. BJ and Tyler, and Chip and Kim are the teams in question, and their complaints make them come across as petty, smug, immature crybaby losers, even the ones who actually won their seasons. It’s embarassing and pathetic: These two teams have already had one shot at this chance in a lifetime and actually won, yet they’re mad they don’t get to do it all again.

Chip and Kim, winners of Amazing Race 5, have posted a video blog on their MySpace page that rips the producers for ignoring them. Chip says, “to be completely forgotten by CBS and the decision-makers, who are definitely doing The Amazing Race all-stars, it doesn’t feel good. We could have been contacted.” Kim says it “would have probably been a fairer process” if fans were able to vote for the teams who are participating.

Chip says they know “at least half the teams [that were selected], but we will not break their confidence.” He does say, however, that Jonathan Baker and Victoria Fuller were not selected, nor were season one winners Rob and Brennan.

Kim and others are also complaining on their CBS.com blog, where the racers are supposed to be discussing the current season, not congratulating themselves. The winner of Amazing Race 9, BJ, writes, “trust me, if they were doing that [an all-star version], they would contact us. We were the most well-liked team ever to compete on the Race, as shown by CBS’s own website. … We were the most winningest winners ever to win. I imagine they’d do something like they did with Big Brother, and let the fans vote on which teams they’d like to see compete. That would be the smart thing to do; better than casting fighting couples again.”

The only voice of dissent seems to be Andrew, who points out that, if there was a vote, “everyone is going to know who to look for in airports and such creating too many spoliers.” He more convincingly disputes BJ’s arrogant statement by writing, “‘Winningest team ever’ BJ? Sure you were popular BJ, but look at your compeition. Obnoxious arrogant models and ‘fight a lot’ Ray and Yolanda. … But I’d be the most popular team racing against Stalin and Hitler too.”

Update: As of noon ET, Chip and Kim’s video “video has been deleted by the user,” perhaps because the soundtrack to their bitching was the theme song to the show. However, all the blog entries remain, at least for now."

I'm going to be disappointed if Romber isn't in it. They're my all-time favorite team.

THEY CUT A ROADBLOCK FROM LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE!!!!

                          I'm seriously pissed about that.

The beauty queens are clearly holding a road block clue after the swimming task.

So here's what CBS did to edit it out:

When they got to the boat the captain said, "You must open on the other side." So they swam to the shore and opened their clue.

                          The clue was a roadblock.

The teams did the roadblock and were handed a second clue which told them to go to the post office.

The producers cut the roadblock but showed them opening the second clue, thus to make it seem like there was no roadblock on that leg of the race.

Otherwise, the leg was great. Dave and Mary should never have left the salt detour, as that guaranteed them last place.

They are the luckiest team, getting two non-elims in the same race, just like the Hippies did last season.

AND WHAT THE FRACK IS AN INTERSECTION?

I hate non-eliminations. They should get rid of them all together and just add more teams to the race or make the season shorter.

I would hate to see Kentucky win after being saved twice.

I'm rooting for the beauty queens. They cracked me up when they tried to say Hi to Team Alabama when their boat was going the other way. Team Alabama always looks upset.

The scooter prize didn't have a sponsor. That was pretty weird as Phil usually mentions the sponsor when giving out a prize. I liked Phil's reaction when Kandice basically asked him if he wanted to ride the scooter. I'm sure Phil was aware his wife would be watching the show so didn't want to give an honest answer.

Phil needs to bring back the pointer at the mat before the season is over.

                              - Dustin/Kandice finish first again That's the first time I've ever seen a team beat another team that completed the fast foward to the mat.

When deciding between the mattress or the papermaking detours, one of
them said to the Cho brothers, "We figured that you guys are
Asian, so you would be good at making paper". LOL

I liked the intersection twist. Too bad it wasn't the Beauty Queens and Team Bama, that would have been very interesting.

                              - For a brief moment, I thought Mary/David were going to survive another leg. I'm glad they're finally eliminated.

                              - The cow lips looked nasty.

In "The Amazing Race 2," the gay male cheerleader from Georgia and his father got the fast forward in London, having to complete a tank obstacle course and arrived last at the pit-stop. If I remember correctly, they got on a later flight so used the fast forward to try and catch up but failed because they were too far behind.

In another note, did anyone else laugh when they saw Phil dancing at the pit-stop? I thought that was hilarious.

So was the slide into the mat and the dead silence, the "wtf?" look on Phil's face. And then, the priceless line: "Was I safe?"
