    Jennings and Williams

With yourmusic.com having a nice selection of Waylon & Shooter Jennings and Hank Williams 1 - 3, I figured I'd queue up a couple albums and dive into some outlaw country. Anyway, I'd like some suggestions of albums to check out by Waylon and Shooter Jennings and Hank 1, 2, and 3.

I think Hank, Jr. has atleast 3 greatest hits albums.......if it is any good then it is probably on one of thoses albums. I think Hank, Jr. has somewhere close 40 albums so the Greatest Hits would be good place to start. As far as Waylon goes some of his best stuff was part of the Highwaymen which featured him, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson.

Shooter Jennings is coming to Lincoln this summer...so I'm probably gonna check that out.

Waylon Live: The Expanded Edition : I'll be getting this for my birthday. A lot of good songs on it

          Dreaming my Dreams

Ol' Waylon : Contains my absolute favourite Waylon Jennings song "Luckenbach, Texas (back to the basics of love)".

: Not their best work but you owe yourself to listen to this album. They were truly great friends. Oh and you gotta love the first song "Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys".

Like the others said, Hank Jr. has at least 3 greatest hit albums and they're all fantastic, long live Bocephus.

Waylon Live is a good start for him too.

I saw Shooter down in Charlotte earlier this year. Great concert, but Shooter was so drunk/stoned that his band mates had to hold him up at a couple points.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess Hank Jr. didn't put out any/many top-notch albums since everybody's recommending I pick up one of his greatest hits collections.
