    Changing the programs that auto-start in Windows...

    I remember my father showed me how to do this a few years ago and I can't remember how to do it. There was something (perhaps in control panel) where you could check/uncheck whatever programs you want to start upon boot up.

    It gets very annoying when you turn on/restart your PC and tons of useless programs start up automatically.

    open run on the start menu and type 'msconfig'

      ive found websites out there with a database of startup EXEs. you can see what it really is and if its really needed
