Guys I bout an lcd hd tv... but i dont know what i need

to connect my pc to the new tv... it has the connection in the back for the monitor but the only cable i have for that is the one attached to the current dell monitor... what cable must i buy to connect my pc to the new tv i bought...

well, first see if your video card on the back of your computer has two outputs. You might have a VGA (blue) and a DVI (white). Search google for those connections if don't know what they look like. If you have both, one way to connect is to connect a DVI cable from your cpu to your TV and the VGA from your cpu to your monitor.

ok here it is...I bought a new video card for my pc which does have that blue end and white end on it... i currently connect the dell monitor which has the blue end to the blue end of the video card... my video card also came with an addapter that connects to the white slot in the video card... but my new lcd tv has the blue end but i dont know what i need to buy to connect my pc end of the video card to the new tv and not use the damm dell little monitor

Well, if the TV has an HDMI or DVI jack, you can run a DVI-HDMI or DVI-DVI cable. Otherwise, to use the blue plugs, you need a male-male VGA cable.
