Anyways i've heard the same kind of accusations against Robin Williams. Apparently when he wasn't a huge star he'd scope out the comedy clubs and literally crib jokes from other comedians.

I have a feeling joke stealing isn't that new of an occurance. In fact Milton Berle was roundly accused of stealing from EVERYBODY!

I think it'd be nearly impossible to make a court case out of it. I mean everyone steals from someone. Comedy is so old that none of it is totally original so it'd be hard to truly prove that you're the originator of said schtick.

Well, haven't seen this topic in a few weeks since I saw it on the Opie & Anthony fan message board. Anyway, there will always be comedians making accusations against other comics when it comes to stealing. Its not a very friendly business, but if anything sounds similar, I think people will jump right on and say it was stolen. In this case I think it was just an accident.

EDIT: By the way, SPTO, "gooder" is an Opie & Anthony thing sorta. The O&A fans know better, but it just sounds gooder to use "gooder"
