Congrats on the new Mac. I got my current powerbook back in January 04, and its still going strong and still the sleekest laptop you'll see around.

But yeah, its pretty easy to learn how to use. Definitely use expose, its a great feature. If you get a multi-button mouse you can program the different expose functions. Also, as already mentioned, play around with preferences. But you'll learn the most just sort of playing around.

To be honest, it was very easy to learn OS X after years on Windows, and its not all that much different from Windows. I just find it simpler and haven't had nearly the headaches I had on my PC's.

Say if my mom got a macbook could i chat with her thru the built in camera, and like see her, video chatting i guess u call it. Could that be done?

Totally....the beauty of iChat AV!!!

That's why they put the built-in iSights in their iMacs and laptops now...for video conferencing.

no....iChat's already on your computer, as is the camera.

She gets a MacBook with the same stuff

you log on to iChat (with an AOL screenname, or get one for free) as does she and select "Video Chat"
