Ebay problem...

[WTF]

Hey guys, I recently purchased a videocard on eBay. The guy has a 95% feedback rating, so I figure he is legit.

It ended on Monday using Buy it Now w/ instant Payment through PayPal... yet I still haven't received an email or anything from him. What do you all think? I've never had anyone not respond to me after a transaction, so hopefully I'm just being overly cautious.

There's the link. I got a really good deal for a pretty decent card, so hopefully I haven't been scammed. I should have went the Newegg route and got on "open box" for right around the same price. How long should I give this guy?

What have you received? Just a notice that you are the winning bidder? It has only been two days, maybe he has been busy.

I had an auction end on the 28th, from a 98% feedback guy, and he didn't respond until like the 7th and the item didn't get to my house until I think the 23rd or 24th.

Give it time.

Yeah, give it time. I too like to get my stuff ASAP, but sometimes things happen. 7 days is good enough, if not start emailing and thinking about bringing ebay into this.

Yeah bro, give it a few days. I sell items on ebay, sometimes I get people asking if I shipped the item the next day even though at times I haven't due to time and I'm at 100% positive with a total of 496 all positive feedback received on sold and bought items.

Yeah, I'm just used to seller's responding to me. I've emailed him 2-3 times, but no response at all and one of his email addresses doesn't work. That's the only thing that has me worried.

I'll give him a little time. Hopefully he comes through and has just been busy. Normally I just like to have some kind of acknowledgement that the payment has been received or something stating that he is there.

Give it some time. A lot of sellers (like me) dont send emails. He could just be out of town, thats usually the case.

Give it time...I bought something for my car recently from a dealership on eBay and it took over a week for the guy to respond. I got worried after I e-mailed him a couple of times and didn't hear a response. A week later, I found out he was on vacation and received the item a couple days later.

As everybody said, give it time. You have 30 or 60 days to file a non-receipt claim with Paypal. If you do that, the seller will have 10 days to prove (with tracking info) that he shipped it. If he doesn't provide the tracking info, your payment will automatically be refunded.

Be careful, my only negative was given to me by a seller who repeatedly lied about the shipping date (which I could see was over 10 days after the date he had told me once I got the package). I had paid for 2 day shipping so 7 days after the date he claimed to have shipped and after numerous emails I had filed a claim. I cancelled the claim as soon as I got the game and I left the guy a neutral (I don't like being lied to but he did deliver the game as listed) and he retaliated with a negative, claiming I was impatient and he couldn't ship before I paid, which was just more lies to cover himself. The feedback system is really not effective as people can just retaliate even when you have a valid reason to leave a negative.

Yeah, I paid for Expedited Shipping. That's the only thing that's getting to me. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next day or two.

ebay allows sellers up to 7 days to ship an item even if you order over night.
