Anyway to "forward" emails from an old account to a new one?

My MOM is crazy.. shes been paying 20 or so dollars a month for MSN dialup because of her email address. We dont even use dialup anymore. she said once we drop coverage, her @msn.com email is GONE. Its kinda important too.

is there a service or program that can forward or even notify them that the owner has changed email addresses. She has so much stuff tied in with her email that losing it appears not to be worth the 20 bucks a month shes paying to keep it.

    I need help

If she cancels the MSN account, there is no way to forward the messages sent to that e-mail address. However, if she really wants to keep only the e-mail address, they may offer an e-mail only subscription for a few bucks a month. I know that people can keep their AOL e-mail address for around $3/month. I have also read that someone has kept their MSN e-mail address free through Hotmail, but I am not sure how true that is.

Call MSN and speak to someone in their cancellation dept., and not their general customer service center. First ask them if you can keep your MSN e-mail address free through Hotmail, and if not, ask them about their e-mail only plans.
