    Brokeback Mountain

Good love story with beautiful cinematography. The forbidden love between Ennis and Jack was believable and the actors that played these characters brought their A game. Michelle Williams as Ennis’s wife was also excellent.

The ending made this film a real tear jerker.

I watched all the special features and you can really see the high amount of respect the actors and crew have for Ang Lee.

Ang Lee has a great track record with Brokeback Mountain, The Ice Storm, Sense and Sensibility, and Ride With The Devil. I would like to know what went through his head when he agreed to direct Hulk. That film stands out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of his work.

    This movie was great...

It's really a shame that everyone will avoid it just because this thread was created.

Meh...it was all right, but not the great love story it's made out to be. If it weren't a gay story, it wouldn't have been anything special at all.

It probably consisted of two words: "Whoa, money!"

I'm sorry (and i'm open minded) but I watched the first half hour or so of that movie and had to turn it off. It had a glacial pace, was boring and FAR too much man on man love making that made me want to tear my eyes out.

There was only one sex scene between Jack and Ennis. After that scene, all the other love scenes involved a man and a woman.

I guess I don't have the guts to sit through it. Like I said the movie was slow as hell anyways.

Weird, I just finished watching this flick 5 minutes ago. Girlfriend is watching the special features as I type.

I thought it was incredible...Accolades can get your interest, but you really have to see it to appreciate how well this story is told. It's pretty gut-wrenching and realistic...well acted and amazing cinematography as mentioned.

I have no problem with anyone who is gay-Sounds like a cliche but I have a good friend in my fantasy football league who is gay, but I am totally adverse to watching two men make out-"Oz" was great, but I couldn't stomach the man love.

Maybe I am an imperfect human being, but I have no interest in a movie about gay cowboys. Sorry.
