    Yikes.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

I smell a plot for a future South Park episode.

The LAPD refutes those accusations of Mel Gibson and said he was polite and cooperative. I guess there's always to sides to the story.

A law enforcement source says Gibson then noticed another female sergeant and yelled, "What do you think you're looking at, sugar tits?"

:y4: I can see him doing all this with his wide-eyed Lethal Weapon psychotic look.

Well, Passion of the Christ came under a lot of fire for being anti-semitic and I guess now we can see why. Terrible.

For those who might defend Gibson, remember two things. One, the LAPD has been covering up Hollywood run-ins with the law for about 100 years. So their denials about Gibson's conduct don't hold much water with anyone. And secondly, Mel's BAC was 0.12. That's a whole hell of a lot lower than the crazed, out of control, I-don't-know-what-I'm-saying wildman he's trying to portray himself as. He knew exactly what he was saying.

And in that first story Gibson sounds like he's apologizing for a lot more than driving drunk.

                      Re: Mel Gibson behaving badly

Gibson supposedly has a cool movie coming out later this year called Apocalyptico, and it's supposed to send a political message, but you can figure that out for yourself. So I think it could be a publicity stunt.

Anyways, I want to see a video of Gibson talk about this before I believe anything the media says.

Im more wondering why noone is making more of a big deal out of his DWI's than his comments. Which is the most harmful?

good point KDRE, this was huge news on CNN and all that other crap earlier today. everyone more concerned with his message and not the act of drunken driving. they only brought up his BAC level to refute that he "wasnt crazy" and knew what he was saying. GOtta love hollywood

Alcohol affects everyone differently so "he knew exactly what he was saying" is a complete guess on your part. Unless you have studied Mel's neurological makeup.

Yep, I know people who can get totally hammered after one drink and others who can drink beer and heavy liquor all night and STILL ask for more.

My late uncle was like that. He once drank my sister's bf under the table! :y4: :y4: :y4:
