    Laptop screen size

I want to get a new laptop and I'm considering getting a 14.1" screen. I currently have a 15" and it's just a little too big/heavy overall (I think it's 6.5 lbs). I went to Best Buy to look at a 14.1" screen to see if I liked it but all they had was widescreen laptops which I don't want. Has anyone gone from a 15" to a 14"? Was it ok? There's about a 1 lb. difference for the laptops I'm looking at which isn't a ton but I travel a lot so I'm looking for ways to lighten the load in my laptop bag.

You should go for a Mac Book. Lighter, smaller, and 10x better (with the new intel chips)

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't like Macs....and yes I've used them a lot (was a broadcast major in college so we used them for audio editing and I recently took a Photoshop course where I had to use them). I'm a PC user all the way.

The laptops I'm looking at between 4.3 & 5.6 lbs. (IBM Thinkpad).
