Acceptance Breaks Up

Most of you probably don't know who this band is, but I do know a few on here that do listen to them so I figured it was worth posting.

Anyways, they are breaking up. Jason, the lead singer, decided to move on and persue other things. The rest of the band is continuing to play music, but without the voice...no sense in trying to replace it.

Anyways, it really sucks that they broke up....Jason's voice was excellent. Acceptance put on a great live show too.

I'll definitely miss them.

Sucks when Seattle bands break up, but its seems to happen all the time.

Acceptance fought for so long to get big and they finally did with this last album, and now they break up...heard it all before.

I saw them live once, they're not bad.

In other bands breaking up news, Death From Above 1979 is also done.

Cobra Starship is much worse than Acceptance and DFA1979.

Wow, the FBR label doing something together? No way! Do they even have more than a few songs? I don't think they have an album yet... although Midtown is good.

Cobra Starship is much worse than Acceptance and DFA1979.

they're touring with gym class heroes and gonna be on jimmy kimmel on the 17th. CD out in oct/nov i think. haha i thought it was a joke, but the single now isnt that bad

I've heard their name thrown around a lot in the past, but never actually got around to listening to them. Just checked out their list of similar artists on Last.fm and discovered that I like a lot of the bands listed though, so my interest in them has definitely risen. Anyone have any recommendations as to where I should start with them?
