    The New, IMPROVED Subwoofer

Had to put that oxy up there. I read this article and couldn't help but put it down. I'm not really one for loud music, but I can see a few problems popping off with this new technology if it's implemented into more cars. A lot of people will be jamming harder now. Hopefully it's not as bad as I think it is. Never know. Take a read and be amazed.

Wow this will be interesting. I have a 10 in my car and it still takes up a lot space. I can't believe what they are saying there. A 5 inch diameter speaker is going to output the same as two 10's!!!

Kantor says that when his engineers produced a 3-foot-high prototype of the Tymphany LAT, they were able to balance a penny on its edge on top of the tube, even while pumping out rock-concert-volume bass.
Amazing, i have to see these first hand soon and I'm glad Alpine will be the first car audio to do this.
