Playstation2 Problem

Lately my PS2 has been making these loud clicking noises. I heard you could send it into sony to get it repaired, but I don't know if you still can. I won't be home for a couple days, so I figured this would be a good chance to send it out. Anyone have any ideas?

The thing that picks up the discs is probably broken, and the clicking is the disc hitting the tray while its spinning. They should fix it, but it might take a while to get it back.

Also, don't play any games before you ship it off, it will scratch them up badly.
