    Mozilla Problem

When I'd turn it on, for the last week, a msg for a d/l would come up but never finished and i'd have to click on no that it didnt install.

So today my bro tries fixing it by deleting mozilla and then re-installing... it says it is done but when u click on it, it never loads.

Also, after its uninstalled, the mozilla folder isnt able to be deleted cuz its got some files it wont let me delete.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    My suggestion:

    1. Make a note of the files that need deleted.
    2. Restart in dos mode and delete them there.
    3. Reinstall fresh.

    Good luck

well when you restart the computer you hold down F8 (although i haven't done this in a while, it may be F6) and it gives you a bunch of options, choose the DOS (command line only) option.

try that. When it says "Cannot delete folder: It is being used by another program" it will give you an option to delete it via this program.

If it still doesnt work, you probably have a virus. Have you dont a virus check?

If the above doesnt work at all, try this, restart the computer, hit F8, then start in SAFE MODE.

Once you start in safe mode, then try uninstalling Mozilla again or delete the folder.

            Let me know what happens.

thx for ur help bro.. i was gonna start it in safe mode this morning (i didnt last nite cuz i just downloaded opera, which is very cool, but not for me), but forgot...

so then im like, if the pc was off, then theres no way those files could be in use, so i tried deleting the folder and voila...

so now i have opera, firefox and explorer (which i dont think u can delete cuz it'll lead to problems), either way, i think i should just delete opera, i dono
