Dominic Dierkes, Donald Glover, and DC Pierson have been writing and performing sketches together since 2003. They have directed and co-written (with Hammerkatz NYU) six sketch revues that have been showcased at Syracuse University, University of Massachusetts, New York University, and the National College Comedy Festival. As members of the Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz (ECNY Best Sketch Group 2005), Derrick has written and performed in three sketch revues whose runs at the prestigious Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre garnered much acclaim and a TimeOut NY Critic's Pick . They have appeared on television in Sketch Cram (TBS Pilot), MTV , The Nighttime Clap on Fuse and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. They are currently in development with Comedy Central
The members of Derrick are also experienced improvisers and graduates of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre school of improvisation. They have performed improv at the National College Comedy Festival (2004) as well as the Del Close Marathon (2004, 2005). They have improvised at virtually every comedy venue in New York including the UCB Theatre, the People's Improv Theatre, Juvie Hall, and the Magnet Theater.
